Rebecca was awesome! I arrived she got me all set up with my Lock and took me to look at my Unit which was great because I actually needed something a little different. She found a awesome Unit on the property for me in exchange and we were good to go! Easy Peasy!
I also used the online booking feature to secure a unit and that was also very functional!

I had my storage unit for over 5 years and never once had any issue with the facility and the staff (Maricela) is wonderful to work with. The only reason I moved out of the facility was to lower my personal expenses.

The place is clean and the girl that works there is really nice. The only reason I'm giving this place 4 stars instead of 5 is because the lift. I spent all day loading my storage and it would much more convenient to be able to ride the elevator with my stuff rather than having to climb the stairs with every load.

My family is in the process of selling our house. To do that we wanted to show the size of each room so we moved all about stuff out. Of course we needed to find storage rooms. I did my research because Im a nerd like that and wanted to get the best value. A lot places popped up on yelp for $80-130 even $200 for 5 x5 units give or take. The kicker was that all these places required a cylinder lock. Conviently the places sell them to you but for $20!!! So out the door your unit is costing you $20 lock + $20-30 admin fee + $10-15 required insurance = 50-65 even with your for 1st month free. Then its a round $80 a month.
Then I found A-1 storage. They offer a variety of sizes and the cheapest admin fee and only $10 for the lock. I went with a 5x3 unit for $40 and the first month free. I was out the door with a lock and u it for $42. I dare you to find a better deal. The people were courteous and explained every charge and why. They even told me how to get it cheaper if I have my own home/rental insurance. Every storage building has its own dolly and they are super clean inside. The staff is great and the unit was perfect. A-1 has a customer for life.

The cleanest friendliest and most honest self storage place I've dealt with. Employee is willing to work with you and help as much as possible. I go to storage units every week and this by far is the best one that I ever came across. I even slowed to to write a review.

The people were nice, the facility was decent, one complaint was that some stuff was ruined because it got way too hot in our unit. But the price was in our price range.

Well, I Been a Renter at this Storage Facility for Over (2) Years Now and that should speak for itself -- This Place is Well Managed and Very Clean and Secure - I Have been renting at storage facilities for over the past (30) Years and have been to more than (15) Facilities from Los Angeles County to Orange County and this Place Ranks up there in the Top (3) -- Excellent Job to the Manager for Creating such a Great Environment !!

Wouldn't stop calling and sending me emails begging for a review. Seriously pathetic. Well, here's your review:
Code entry box is places far from the gate on both sides. You can't enter or leave without getting out of your car and running back.
The freight-only elevator is in the middle of the building while the entrances are on the ends. You have to put your stuff in the elevator and leave it as you walk to the end, go upstairs, walk back, and press the button from inside to operate it.
Staff members are never there, always on break.
Tried to add on a $10 monthly insurance plan that I didn't want
Will never be going back.

I mistaken and I had a storage in this facility without check the place before the price is very hight no light in any unit they close by 8 pm the girl work here is very rude the building very old and all my clothes that I kept here in boxes after 2 month stay here I had to through away so before rent a unit in this facility check out other places

As a veteran of no less than 5 different storage facilities over time in Santa Ana driven by cost, security and state of the premises, A-1 took me by surprise on each issue with an added bonus. I made an online reservation that was immediately confirmed by a very polite and knowledgeable staff member (the manager, as it happened). Each of the aforementioned issues were solidly addressed. Great monthly price and move-in promo for a spacious unit. This newly renovated facility featured climate controlled upstairs units, freight lift, lots of light and security cameras everywhere. The customer service was unparalleled. I would highly recommend this facility.

Terrible experience! Renting there for ~ 10-15 years, NEVER any problem with the previous owner and management, they were very helpful, phone calls always answered promptly, my storage is on the second floor, a driven lift was always available when I needed it.
With the new owner, since ~ April 2015, everything changed, lift is NOT available, ridiculously you have to make an appointment, and it is hard to make because they don't always have somebody to handle it! The clerk is on the phone for lengthy time trying to organize it, rather complaining to smbody about the customer (me), instead of helping.
The clerk, hard to deal with, arguing instead of helping, often time is NOT in the office in office hours, the phone call goes to an answering machine in Santa Ana, after that to an other machine in Fullerton, that says, your phone call will be returned in 48 minutes. They NEVER returned my phone calls!
On the top of these, they just raised my rent from $130.00 to $146.00. I want to move out, but I do not know how when the lift is not available! The new owner with his new policies, practices, hard to deal with clerks makes a true disaster being there. This owner does not serve the people, he serves his bank account. Should not be in business!
