Claudia, Sarai and Fermin have provided outstanding customer service even after a non customer came in to their facility and left spouting rude superlatives and negative comments. The facility and grounds overall are in superb condition. The staff made very sure to inform me of all the in and outs in an extremely kind and considerate manner. Kudos to A1 Spring Street location. You've definitely earned my business.

I rented a unit from this location for a little over a year while having a new home built. Due to construction delays my closing date changed a few times. when I explained my situation to Fran or Lulu as always they were willing to help me make a decision that would fit my changing situation. Fran and Lulu were always kind, courteous, and friendly. I cannot say enough about my gratitude and appreciation for their work and efforts. Moving and dealing with construction delays can be stressful. It was nice to see a kind and smiling face when I stopped by to discuss my changes or needed to get the number to my unit because I had forgotten it. I highly recommend this location to anyone who needs storage in the area.

This Storage facility is BY FAR the most efficient, clean, organized, & simplest paperwork EVER! They honored my reservation, AND even gave me a discount on my rental! I was refferred to them by a current renter who had a somewhat complicated schedule. No hidden agendas here! Lulu & Fran truly can help u & make it so fast & simple, well, it was amazing!

Very great customer service by Fran. Whatever question you have, she has an answer for it. The storage facility was clean, climate controlled, and easily accessible. The facility doesnt smell old like other storage units. This place smells like they actually take care of it. I would recommend everyone do business with them.

The Best A-1 Storage is located in La Mesa, California! This is a clean and well maintained facility. Their staff is knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Fran was polite, friendly, and professional. Clear and concise policies were explained. Convenient location right off the Interstate 8. Clean facilities. Only 4 stars because I'm not happy with the monthly price of the storage, but I suppose everything costs too much these days

I just got a month of storage but they helped me get a good deal and the dolly's definitely made my life 100% easier. There was a little confusion with how long the month term was but the lady at the desk helped me figure it all out. Coming back next time!

My boyfriend and I were researching storage in the La Mesa area and we noticed this location had a lot of great reviews. We found out the pricing was comparable to other storage facilities nearby. However, the customer service was really outstanding. Fran handled our needs and offered helpful solutions which made a stressful moving situation so much easier to deal with. We're appreciative of her help and would definitely recommend this location for the high level of customer service and storage safety.

Very expensive, locks hard to use, rates go up whenever demand goes up, especially before the summer season, although nice, safe place to store, most expensive non climate controlled units in the area.

Not the best of prices, but the one reason I chose them is because it's a very safe place. They have camera's monitoring the entire campus 24/7. They also keep everything locked up and provide insurance. You get your money's worth with them!

I needed a place to store some household items that was close to home and easy to get to. This A-1 facility on Spring street fit the bill. The staff was very helpful and professional. Lulu showed me around the facility and together we picked the perfect sized unit for the items I had. Access was easy and convenient. And I felt that I got good value for the price. I would highly recommend this business.

Had my unit for a little less than a year. Never had any problems. Price did increase a little over time but it wasn't a dramatic change in my payment. Definitely would use again and recommend to others. The hours worked perfect and it's gated and you can't get in w/o your code so that's a plus.

Although no longer in the military, I still use storage facilities because my work requires me to travel 90% of the time. I shopped around for a storage facility in which I would feel secure while on the premises and left with the peace of mind my assets were just as secure.
Fran is a superstar and explained everything to me and helped me navigate my storage needs and prevented me from my wants.
Each time I come in, the customer service is over the top and I appreciate the staff for recognizing me as well. The hard assumption here is this, you may require storage from time to time. A-1 Self Storage in La Mesa is simply that good.

This is the second time that we rent a storage space at A1-Self Storage in La Mesa. The facility is clean and we didn't have any problems the last time we rented here so I hope that we don't have any issues this time too! (cross my fingers) ;)
I went in on Sunday and was helped by Lulu who is just such a sweet lady and very professional. I felt very welcomed by her. She was very knowledgeable of the product that I was inquiring about.
The only thing that I don't particularly like is the increase fees ( first increase is like at the 6 month's date and then again at your year mark, and then once a year after that) I don't mind the year increase but the 6 month increase I do.
I recommend A-1 Self Storage, La Mesa to my family and friends!
