“I have not tried other places to compare, but I chose A-1 because it felt more secure and protected after reading reviews on other places. There is a secure, gated fence, and security alerts (supposedly) if someone access your unit w/o entering the code. It's not a 24 hr watch, but it is better than nothing. I preferred a drive in unit for ease of moving in and out, but none were available. These are probably hot commodities. My unit was on the 3rd floor. However, they do provide flat-bed carts to help move (and these helped out tremendously. Their elevator is also humongous to fit big items. All in all, it was not as much of a burden as I thought. Having read previous reviews, I understood when they raise their rent so I was not surprised when it happened. It is something that they do not advertise, but will answer if you inquire about it. Throughout all my visits, the staff has been courteous whenever I needed to interact with them. I'd recommend this place for anyone considering a storage unit..”
